How do the differences in surfaces of walls affect the period of time taken for the blu-tac to fall?

WE decided to use the following surfaces:
-The memo board in the boarding in our rooms(rough)
-a window pane(smooth),and
-the wall outside our room doors(neutral)

These are the independent variables.

Hypothesis:The rougher the surface of the wall, the longer time it takes for the blu-tac to fall.

WE think that the blu-tac would take more than a day to fall, so we decided to use a calender as a so-called 'time-taker' instead of a stopwatch.WE will be recording all our findings in a table.

independent variables:are things that affect another varible.

dependent variables: are things that are being affected by the independent variables
